I was one of those who criticized (sp?) and was sorry as soon as I sent the post. I'm sure I have spellcheck on here somewhere but haven't found it so have to rely on my education and my mother's continual corrections (at a demented 89, she's still correcting us, and although I often disagree with her I never correct her back). Maybe that's why I notice other's errors, but I will try to be more forgiving and I certainly know in spite of my efforts, I am not perfect. I think sometimes errors are just the result of haste/excitement in trying to get one's point across. And i also want to know if someone would be willing to send me a tape of the forthcoming Celebrity Dish show with him and his mother on the Food Network (i don't have this network here). I don't really like this kind of show, but i'm just curious to see Mandy. I know this list is not really for trading, but i only have a few americans network here, and the rest is in french. I only have Mandy movies in french, and it's not the same thing without is superb voice. So, i'd also like to know if there are people who would be willing to make me copies of some Mandy movies (Princess Bride, Yentl, Maxie, etc.) or CH episodes from the first and second season. I've already sent this kind of message for Angie' CH site, on the trading post, but i'm not sure if it works. I recently got a job, so i can afford any postage cost, or send blank tapes. I'd really like to get an answer, because i can't watch these things in english, and you are all so lucky. If you have these things and you're not sure about sending it, just remind you that's it's for Mandy's sake, just to make another Mandy really happy! I was skeptical at first about the release of an album of "children's songs", but it will appeal to kids and adults alike I believe. I especially love MP's rendition of "If I Only Had a Brain" from Wizard of Oz. Lots of other good songs as well (Singing in the Bathtub, Singing in the Rain, Ugly Duckling, Swinging on a Star, Emperor's New Clothes, Alphabet song (or whatever that one is called that starts "A you're adorable") etc.). phantm ############################################################ The Peter MacNicol Page Mandy Patinkin Showcase http://www.petermacnicol.net http://www.mandypatinkin.net ############################################################ ----------------Message-boundary From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: Re: MP: 100 Greatest Stage Actors Date: Thu, 25 Nov 1999 10:41:27 -0700 Errors-to: Sender: [email protected] X-listname: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Comments: Originally To: [email protected] X-Mailer: Mercury MTS (Bindery) v1.44 OH--and also John Malkovich (thought I'd throw that in there... but not to revive that debate about "sexy" actors). phantm ############################################################ The Peter MacNicol Page Mandy Patinkin Showcase http://www.petermacnicol.net http://www.mandypatinkin.net ############################################################ ----------------Message-boundary From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: Re: MP: Celebrity Spotlight Date: Thu, 25 Nov 1999 12:19:10 -0800 Errors-to: Sender: [email protected] X-listname: Mime-Version: 1.0 Comments: Originally To: [email protected] Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed" X-Mailer: Mercury MTS (Bindery) v1.44 Joanne wrote, about "The Wild Party": > Even he didn't know if it would be successful >or not, but he did say he had such a great time doing the workshop of it >that he wanted to do the show.
