My question still stands. Did phantm get permission to use copyrighted photos
and articles on her page? Copyright violation is serious business.

What I am is concerned about the theft of intellectual property. Would phantm
like it if someone came along, copied her website lock, stock and barrel and
claimed it as their own?

That is correct. Except I assume that you know that it is not actually on
the CH soundtrack. Both the Casey Medley and Political Science were
originally slated to be on the soundtrack, but in the end were not.

Hi all, are we all still full from turkey? I haven't had a chance to go
back and watch Maxie again or the CH episode. But, I think I found
something else (and it is not a stupid question Nadine!). I got my CH CD
on eBay from a seller in Canada. (before that I didn't even know it
existed. But, here is the strange part. There are 24 tracks on the
jacket and 26 on the CD itself. Track #4 on the CD itself is the Casey
melody with *I will always love you Laurie* in the words. Track #24
also, by Many is a song all about political unrest and the repeated line
is *let's drop the big one*. Was this the song Geiger sang the night he
nearly went off the deep end after dinner with Jeri and Laurie?

Wait a minute... Those two songs are not on my copy of the CH CD! I wonder
if there have been two different versions release. Or perhaps some were
released in some places with the two MP songs before they were then
dropped.....

Nancy,
Does the copy you purchased on ebay by any chance have a little hole
drilled into the side of the CD jewel case? Sometimes CDs which are given
away to promote the CD or freebies sent out to friends of the artist, etc.
have a hole drilled in the side. I am wondering if you got an early
version before MP's songs were "officially removed". (I bought mine the day
they went on sale in the U.S. and it doesn't have these two tracks.) Or
perhaps Canadians received a different version. Anyone here from Canada
own the CH soundtrack?

re: Mandy leaving CH **I guess Mandy hasn't technically quit again.**
But you posted that Jeffrey is being "phased out" and that ep #15 is
where he'll be written out for good. I thought that was Mandy's idea?
Sounds like he has quit again. Which is kinda sad, considering the
upbeat "Mandy has saved CH" TV Guide interview. It'll be sad, too, if
he's quitting CH because of the play, taking a chance that it might
flop, and then he won't have the play or CH! I just want him to stay on
CH, because that's the only way I get to see him!

The song you are talking about was sung, I believe, during Jeffrey's trial.
I believe the doctors and Camille were in a bar waiting for the verdict to
come in.
The song Jeffrey was singing in the episode (dinner with Laurie and Geri) was
"Rockabye Your Baby."

Lori-
Here's the scoop. Lena came in about 5 minutes after all of you left. She
was seriously PO'd. Said she'd been held up in the lab at Columbia and tried
to phone but the office was closed, which I guess was true. She was NOT
happy to find a total of 4 people in class, but gave the test anyway. The
rest of you have to make it up on your own time, sometime next week.
Test was very easy. Honestly. Know your intra-cardial pressures, both
normal and stenotic. Know the congenital defects, their primary and
secondary findings and complications. Know oxygenation levels, systemic and
pulmonic. Be able to calculate myocardial tissue volume, ejection fractions,
fractional shortening, Teichholz, and stroke volume. (You don't have to
actually do the math, but you do have to set up the equations.) There were a
couple of questions on the placement of stents, which were just common sense,
and one about 3-D Doppler that I absolutely guessed on.
That whole section on chemical composition of blood and the serum proteins
and dissolved gases---- nada, nothing, zip, not a single question. The real
biggie is pressure gradients! She gave lots of graphs, various stenoses and
regurges; be able to interpret the parabolas and diagnose the underlying
pathologies. Know the four basic heart sounds and where you can expect to
hear them on each graph. Know openings and closures, A waves, T waves, etc.
There were no M-Modes, that I recall, except for figuring out that LVIDd
stuff.
All in all, it was quite simple because it was all from the lectures and the
main text; no trick questions or obscure facts from footnotes. There were
the standard slides in the beginning and then the written section, which I
finished in about 30 minutes. I think I got an A. Of course, she could get
revenge on everyone who skipped out by devising a new and far more difficult
version as the make-up; I wouldn't put it past her- she was really seething.
So take all this with a grain of salt; by Monday it could be null and void.
Hope you all had a good holiday. Did you get your X-Sectional grade? I
thought that was the worst test ever; was positive I'd flunked; turned out to
get a 90. Which shows that I am thoroughly incapable of assessing my own
performance. So maybe I only think Lena's test was easy; maybe I flunked it
totally and you whould contact someone else?????
See you Monday. Turkey sandwiches for lunch?
