Can't think of the name of the actor who played the attorney, but he used to
play the 'most recent ex-husband' on Cybill (also a CBS show) a couple of
years ago. His name was Ira

still not as bad a time warp as soaps. Have you ever seen one of those where
the kid is born and 1 yr later is 17? There was one my friend used to watch
where the kid went away to boarding school at 10 and came back 6 months later
just graduating from high school. LOL. This time warp on CH isn't really
all THAT bad. Just a year or two. The kid looks like a real card. Hope to
see more of her.

The double glasses are because his eyes are still adjusting to surgery and
the correction changes all the time, so no new script would work for very
long.

As for the wedding ring...I noticed it, too, but attributed it to his 'still
in love with old mental patient' story line.

Sort of on this subject: Nobody has mentioned anything about the scene in =
which the priest is brought in. In our area (which is Milwaukee, but I =
think the cable company uses the Chicago station), there was NO scene in =
which he and the baggie or whatever were actually brought in (as had been =

The first we saw of the priest he was on the operating table being =

scene, or did one of our local outlets wimp out?

Your station wimped out - big time...He came in to ER and was examined...The ER dr said.."The markings show his penis was bitten off. We have to report it. He is in shock, get a urologist and get him to OR" or something like that. There was a rather large baggie with blood held up, but you couldn't really see the "member" at all. Hope this helps.

It doesn't bother me at all that Mandy does not have top billing. He HAD
TOP BILLING and chose to leave. He can hardly come back several years
later and insist on top billing over Adam Arkin. I'm not sure he should be
listed where he is in the order... but then again he has not committed to
appear in all of the episodes.

Obviously it was negotiated billing, but it once again raises my eternal

I've just never figured out why it is that they seem to think that a little
child can't be an interesting part of the plot. Okay...maybe they have a
hard time getting child actors in the toddler to 5 years old category...but
geez...to me, that's THE best age period for a kid (well except for the baby

Maybe it's to fend off the women so that he can devote his time to
Alicia...or maybe it's so no one thinks of him as a single parent and instead
admires that "involved dad" who is always spending time with his little girl
and giving his wife a break. I think Geiger would get off on the idea that
people were admiring him for doing things that they thought he didn't HAVE to
do. So he goes to the grocery store with Alicia, takes her shopping, etc.
and gets all these admiring glances from women marveling at what a wonderful
husband and father he is. Afterall, Geiger was never all that interested in
an involved relationship with a functional woman anyway, so the fact that the
ring might turn "eligible" women away isn't going to be of particular concern
to him is it?

Okay, okay, I'm tired, worked hard cutting mats all day after picking a
friend up at the airport (and the flight of course was late!), so my brain is
operating without a filter....

I noticed that the only time Mandy did not wear his wedding ring was the very
first year. Then when all the hoopla was made about him leaving the show and
his need to be with his family, he put it on and remains wearing it. From
then on when he would appear as a "special guest" he'd be wearing it.

I believe he has agreed to appear in at least seven of the first 13 (which
would include the first five episodes.) So far 13 have been ordered.
