speaking from 13 years experience as a child actor, there is no drought of
kids of any age whatsoever!!!! from toddler to age 10 or so is where the most
business occurs. there are an absolute ton of kids in show biz, and believe
me, there are plenty of five year old cuties that could have played alicia.
why they chose that one i have no clue. i talked to my mom last night and she
said she bets alicia was someone's niece who works on the show. it's happened
many times before.

Okay...gonna have to set my VCR to record 'cause I'm going to be on the road
on Thursday. So....it's 9 PM EDT, right? I had ASSUMED 10 PM last week, but
happened to turn the tv on between 8 and 9 and heard the "coming lineup"
announcement listing CH first and then whatever network quasi-news show.

Re Mandy's fourth billing, and the agent question.... I have long felt that
Nando is his agent, and Taz his manager. But the fourth billing doesn't
bother me at all- he is NOT a regular actor on the show, and shouldn't be
placed higher than those that are, however much we love him. I'm sorta
surprised that he's listed anything but last.

Subject: MP: Mandy mention on Late Late Show
Date: Sat, 25 Sep 1999 17:52:34 -0400 (EDT)

Hi everyone,

Finally catching up on the week's taping and wanted to tell you about
Adam Arkin's appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. One
of Craig's first questions was about the major housecleaning at
CH---here's the part about Mandy.....

CK: Did they clean house just to make room for Mandy Patinkin's ego?
AA: (Head shaking and smiling) Now don't be hard on Mandy!
CK: We poke fun, but he knows he enjoys himself.
AA: He does enjoy himself, as he has every right to. He's a brilliant
actor and he was really a big part of why the show was a success to
begin with and it's good to have him back.

It was actually cute, not really as mean sounding as it reads. Later in
the show, Adam played 5 Questions and #5 was "Use the words "Mandy
Patinkin" and "ham" in a sentence. Adam's answer: I've never seen
Mandy Patinkin eat ham.

Not much in the way of real news, but heck, the man was mentioned and
his honor was defended!!

Janice<---knows she needs to get a real life, but watching TV is so much
easier!

Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like nobody's watching.

How did you decide that his birth number is 4?

And...she postponed her idea until this year so that
the eye bank donations could be done last year. And
she did it very graciously I might add.

Whoever it was that was missing the 100th CH - here's some good news that
Angie on the CH mailing list sent:

<<< I've just found out that Lifetime is going to start showing the

Which one on last week's ep of CH was Angela Cartright? The only thing I
could come up with was the widow of the lipposuction guy, but she looks
nothing like the Angela Cartright I'm thinking of. Wasn't Angela Cartright
Brigitta in The Sound of Music and also the daughter in Lost in Space? Or
was that Veronica Cartright?

I don't know his name, but wasn't he Ira in that Cybill Shepard show (was it
called Cybill?). He reminds me of the insurance toad from the first season.
