Just finished listening to "The Diaries of Adam and Eve." It's delightful,
and I agree with Mark Twain's claim that it is a "gem." Mandy is great
(what else is new) and Betty Buckley sounds like Bernadette Peters.

It's another of Mandy's quirky choices....but I wonder if he is romantic
enough that he did this one for Kathryn......Carol

All-

Just finished registering at school (going back after a long, LONG time) and
was delighted to receive my "bonus gift"-- an ID card entitling me to view
all the old B'way shows in NYU's Avery Fischer media collection. I don't
even have to make up excuses- just walk in and watch.

Gee whiz... which to pick first? Decisions, decisions.

Very pleased indeed-- DMNY

Cher's okay; I've always gotten a kick out of the way she doesn't take
herself so seriously. But the costume changes got kinda old -- I prolly don't
wear that many clothes in one week

I saw a commercial tonight while watching the CBS Evening News that I am
pretty certain is Mandy's voice. It is an ad for the drug Procrit.

Patinkin's face was not shown, but I am certain it was him.

Patinkin is supposed to appear in the Wild Party with Vanessa Williams,
perhaps as early as March. (Originally it was slated for January, but it
appears to have been postponed a bit.)

and a Waterman fountain pen from NOKIA.

Celebrity guests expected to attend include Lara Flynn Boyle, Camryn
Manheim, Steve Harris, Holland Taylor, Peter MacNicol, Tony Danza, Dennis

The Emmy presenters (of which the list grows longer all the time) will also
receive a whole slew of 'gifts'. I would think people would agree to be a
presenter even without getting stuff for doing it. After all, isn't the
value of things like that counted as income in the eyes of the IRS?
